Epica Awards Grand Prix Winners Make Epic Impact
The 30th Epica Awards were hosted November 17th in Amsterdam, drawing thousands of entries from over 70 countries. Journalists working for marketing and communications magazines around the world decided the winners in a handful of categories and presented global press coverage access.
Each contest entry was judged in the design, digital, print, outdoor or film categories. Innovative and progressive campaigns seemed to be the most impactful, but as always, humor, wit and great timing had a substantial presence as well. Our favorite? The winning print ad of course!
A Norwegian tourism agency named TRY used a heavily talked about celebrity breakup to get views and business flying their way. Simple and to the point, the main text read: Brad is single. The day that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their separation, the ad landed hot; who wouldn’t want to visit the no-longer-taken Brad in Los Angeles for only £169?! *swoon*
