Kopytek Inc. Again Listed Among St. Louis Area’s Top 25 Printing Companies
Published: Apr 6th, 2009
April 6, 2009: ST. LOUIS, MO – Kopytek Inc. has been named one of the top 25 printing companies in the St. Louis area for a second year in a row by the St. Louis Business Journal. With 2008 revenue of $4.4 million, Kopytek moved to No. 22 on this year’s list from No. 23 last year. Kopytek’s business grew 10% from 2007 to 2008, and it continues to grow at its headquarters at 9595 Dielman Rock Island in Olivette.
“Kopytek’s success can be attributed to its exceptional customer service, our valued-added printing options and our ability to continue to bring value to our clients’ printing budgets,” said CEO John Peterson.
Peterson also attributed the company’s growth to the unique workflow design of its building, which was completed in June 2008. Peterson designed the facility after spending years analyzing production rates and studying workflow at Kopytek’s prior location. He implemented a beginning-to-end workflow structure that cut production downtimes and improved efficiencies.
The current facility also was designed and prewired for new equipment. At the end of 2008, Kopytek added two state-of-the-art folding units, which increased the company’s capacity and offerings, while saving clients money in postage. The company expects to double its revenue in the next five years.
“Kopytek has worked very hard to improve its efficiencies and plan for our future growth. The workflow design of our new building has served to increase our speed and capacity while saving our customers money,” Peterson said.
Kopytek is a full-service St. Louis-based printing, digital imaging, mailing and fulfillment company. Since 1986, the company has built a reputation in the metro area for its superior print quality, individualized customer service and fast turnaround time. Kopytek’s client base includes Fortune 500 companies as well as a vast array of St. Louis area businesses. It was named one of the Top 100 printing companies in North America by “Quick Printing” in 2008. For more information, call Kopytek Inc. at (314) 432-2700 or visit them online at www.kopytek.com.
